The INMBSPAN064O000 IntesisBox gateway has been specifically designed to provide seamless and reliable integration between Panasonic VRF systems (ECOi, ECOg, PACi series) and Modbus-based automation systems. It allows full bi-directional communication between the air conditioning units and Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP controllers, SCADA systems, or PLCs. The integration is performed through the CZ-CFUNC2 adaptor, ensuring compatibility with Panasonic’s communication protocol.

This gateway is directly connected to the communication bus of the outdoor unit, enabling monitoring and control of up to 64 indoor units. In addition to the basic control functions such as setpoint, temperature, fan speed, or mode, the device provides access to advanced data like internal variables and error statuses from the outdoor units.

The configuration is done using the Intesis MAPS software, which offers a powerful environment for gateway management. Thanks to its automatic scan function, the system can quickly discover all available indoor units, reducing setup time dramatically. Additionally, its diagnostic tools help installers and integrators quickly identify and solve communication issues, making it ideal for professional HVAC and BMS installations.

This interface supports both Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP protocols, making it a versatile choice for many system architectures. Its multiple communication ports, LED indicators, and industrial-grade construction make it suitable for complex or large-scale building management applications.
