The HD67F36-B2 is a robust LoRaWAN gateway to MQTT converter designed for seamless integration between long-range LoRaWAN networks and modern IoT platforms. It enables both publishing (Uplink) and receiving (Downlink) data between a LoRaWAN Gateway and an MQTT Server, ensuring two-way communication for monitoring and control. This makes it ideal for smart metering, industrial monitoring, smart agriculture, and other distributed IoT applications.
On the LoRaWAN side, the converter acts as an End Device and can communicate with one or more LoRaWAN gateways. It supports all standard LoRaWAN data rates and works on both public and private networks, offering flexibility in network design. This ensures compatibility with national LoRaWAN operators, as well as privately deployed gateways in industrial facilities or municipal networks.
The type B wide housing allows easier cabling and integration, while the DIN rail mounting makes installation straightforward in industrial cabinets. With a wide power supply range of 12…35V DC and 8…24V AC, the device can be deployed in various environments without additional power converters. Its wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C ensures reliable performance in harsh conditions, from freezing outdoor sites to hot machine rooms.
Configuration:
You need the Compositor SW67F36 software on your PC in order to perform the following:- Define the parameters of the MQTT line, including broker address, port, authentication, and QoS.
- Define the parameters of the LoRaWAN line, such as frequency plan, data rate, and encryption keys.
- Define the list of LoRaWAN messages for uplink and downlink to the LoRaWAN gateway.
- Specify which LoRaWAN variables are sent to the MQTT Server.
- Specify which LoRaWAN variables are written by the MQTT Server to control LoRaWAN devices remotely.
- Update the device firmware to maintain performance and security.
