The HD67511 allows you to connect Modbus RTU Slaves with an existing CAN network. It acts as a reliable bridge between the two communication standards, enabling the exchange of data in real time.

The converter is widely used in industrial automation, building management systems and the automotive sector, where robust communication between CAN-based devices (sensors, controllers, automotive modules) and Modbus RTU slaves (meters, PLCs, I/O modules) is required. Its slim DIN rail housing (type A) makes it ideal for installation in compact control cabinets. Triple galvanic isolation ensures that both communication lines and the power supply remain protected against electrical noise, surges and potential differences.

Configuration is simple and efficient thanks to the free SW67511 software, which provides engineers with an intuitive interface to set up CAN and Modbus parameters, define data mapping and update the device firmware when needed.

Thanks to the SW67511 software on your PC you can:

• Define the parameters of the CAN line, including bit rate and identifiers
• Set the Modbus line communication speed and protocol settings
• Map the CAN frames that the Converter accepts for reading information from Modbus Slaves
• Map the CAN frames that the Converter accepts for writing information to Modbus Slaves
• Store and duplicate configuration profiles to speed up commissioning
• Update the device firmware for long-term support and functionality

The software allows up to 500 CAN frames in reading and 500 CAN frames in writing, which provides scalability for complex networks with multiple devices.
