Industrial Modbus RTU slave to SNMP agent converter, housing type B, DIN rail mount.

The HD67165-485-B2 converter allows you to connect a Modbus RTU Master (e.g. PLC, SCADA system) with a SNMP Manager (e.g. PC, supervision server) to enable bidirectional data exchange between the two networks. The converter is easy to configure using the free SW67165 software. This device is widely used in industrial automation, building management systems (BMS), and infrastructure monitoring where SNMP integration with Modbus field devices is required. The compact B-type DIN rail housing enables quick installation inside control cabinets or distribution panels. With its robust RS-485 serial interface, it ensures stable communication over longer distances, even in electrically noisy environments. Configuration:

Thanks to the SW67165 software on your PC you can:

  • Define SNMP parameters including IP addresses, trap destinations, and polling time

  • Upload firmware and apply updates to the device

The software interface allows offline configuration and storage of multiple profiles for reuse. A test mode is also available to verify communication between devices before deployment. No advanced knowledge of SNMP or Modbus is required, making integration fast and straightforward even for non-specialists.
