Industrial converter allows you to integrate a EtherCAT Slave with a S7Comm Client

The HD67E28-A1 is a EtherCAT / S7comm Converter and it allows to publish and get the data from/to a Siemens PLC (or equivalent) to a EtherCAT Gateway in order to exchange the informations between the networks without changing the configuration and stopping the automation of the PLC.

Configuration:

You need Compositor SW67E28 software on your PC in order to perform the following:

  • Define the parameters of EtherCAT line
  • Define the parameters of S7comm line
  • Define EtherCAT variables to read and write
  • Define the S7comm requests to send to the S7comm servers
  • Export the ESI file for configuration of EtherCAT Master
  • Update the device
