HD67676-MSTP-A1 is a reliable industrial gateway that enables communication between a BACnet MS/TP master (such as a PC or supervisory system) and a PROFIBUS DPV0 master (e.g. a Siemens PLC). It works as a slave on both sides, making it suitable for scenarios where the central controller requests or pushes data in both directions. This converter is often used in building management systems (BMS), SCADA architectures, and energy or HVAC control systems that need to exchange data between devices based on different protocols.

The HD67676 supports up to 2000 BACnet objects for both reading and writing, offering great flexibility for data modeling. These objects can be linked to incoming or outgoing PROFIBUS data, enabling accurate translation and synchronization. The unit features triple galvanic isolation between BACnet, PROFIBUS, and power supply sections, improving resilience to electrical interference and grounding issues. With its compact type A housing (only 23 mm wide), the device fits easily in standard DIN rail-mounted industrial enclosures.

The converter supports PROFIBUS communication speeds up to 12 Mbps and BACnet MS/TP up to 115200 bps. Its robust design allows it to operate in harsh industrial environments with temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. Configuration is performed using the free SW67676 software via the Ethernet programming port. The device is a perfect fit for integrators who need to make BACnet devices visible on a PROFIBUS network without reprogramming the master PLC logic.
