The HD67164-232-485-A1 converter enables seamless integration of Modbus RTU slave devices with SNMP Manager networks such as SCADA or IT monitoring systems. Working as a Modbus Master, it retrieves or writes process values and exposes them via SNMP protocol to upper-layer supervisory systems. Its dual communication interface (RS-232 and RS-485) ensures flexibility for both short-distance and long-range installations. The narrow housing (type A) allows easy installation even in limited DIN rail space. This robust and industrial-grade solution is ideal for modern automation environments where integration between fieldbus protocols and IT networks is essential.

Thanks to the SW67164 software, you can:

• Define SNMP line parameters (IP, port, community, etc.)
• Configure Modbus line settings (baud rate, parity, stop bits)
• Map Modbus variables to SNMP OIDs
• Generate MIB files automatically
• Read/write values from Modbus slaves
• Update firmware and download settings

The configuration tool offers offline setup with the ability to save and replicate projects across devices, making deployment simple and repeatable.
