The HD67164-232-A1 is a powerful and compact industrial protocol converter that allows you to connect Modbus RTU slave devices with SNMP-based monitoring systems, such as SCADA servers or supervision software. It serves as a bridge between field-level Modbus installations and higher-level SNMP network environments, enabling efficient and reliable bi-directional data exchange.

This model features a slim type A housing and is designed for DIN rail mounting in control panels and industrial cabinets. The converter supports up to 1024 bytes of data in both read and write operations, making it suitable for demanding integration scenarios that involve multiple devices or complex data structures.

Thanks to triple electrical isolation (Serial–Power, Serial–Ethernet, Power–Ethernet), the HD67164-232-A1 ensures excellent operational stability and protection against interference, ground loops, or voltage spikes. The converter is optimized for continuous operation in harsh industrial environments with operating temperatures from -40°C to +85°C.

Configuration is handled using the free SW67164 software, which allows you to:

• Define communication parameters for the SNMP line
• Set up Modbus RTU communication parameters (baud rate, parity, etc.)
• Map Modbus variables to be read or written
• Define SNMP OIDs for all Modbus objects
• Generate a MIB file for integration with SNMP Manager systems
• Update device firmware with ease
