The IntesisBox INBACTOS001R000 interface enables a natural integration of Toshiba VRF air conditioning systems into BACnet environments (BACnet IP or BACnet MS/TP). It exposes the AC indoor unit as a set of BACnet objects, so a BMS can supervise, automate and control Toshiba VRF operation using standard BACnet mechanisms.

INBACTOS001R000 is wired directly to the AC indoor unit and provides full bi-directional communication. This allows the BMS not only to command core HVAC functions (such as operating mode, fan speed and temperature setpoint), but also to read back operating status, faults, alarms and selected internal variables, which is useful for diagnostics and service monitoring.
The gateway is designed for quick deployment. Installation and commissioning can be completed in a short time: connect the gateway to the AC system and set the required parameters using DIP switches. No dedicated configuration software and no external power supply are required. The product also provides a network interface for convenient monitoring and control of the indoor unit connected to the gateway, and for setting IP network parameters via a standard web browser.
