Hitachi Yutaki Air-to-Water communication module with KNX interface.

The IntesisBox INKNXHIT001A000 enables fully bi-directional monitoring and control of Hitachi Air-to-Water systems from KNX installations. The interface is compatible with all Hitachi Yutaki line models.

INKNXHIT001A000 is an integration gateway designed to connect KNX TP1 (EIB) with Hitachi Air-to-Water (Yutaki) systems using the H-Link bus. In practical terms, it allows the A2W system to become part of KNX building automation logic: operating scenarios, schedules, priorities, touch panels, room controllers, and centralized supervision in larger projects. Bi-directional communication means not only sending commands, but also continuously reading operating states, alarms, and selected internal variables.

The module is connected directly to the indoor unit and provides control of core operating functions as well as system monitoring. In typical implementations, this enables integration of Yutaki into building logic, for example: mode enforcement by zones, time schedules, peak-hour priorities, PV-driven operation, and coordination with ventilation or room temperature control. The gateway also forwards faults and alarms to KNX, supporting diagnostics and automated service notifications.

The connection between both networks is configured in ETS using the downloadable product database. Thanks to support for a large number of KNX DPT data types and KNX certification, INKNXHIT001A000 ensures compatibility with KNX devices available on the market and enables consistent mapping of control/monitoring points to KNX objects.
