IN776MHIXXSO000 is an industrial communication gateway from the Intesis Air Gateways series, designed for seamless integration of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries VRF systems (Superlink II) with KNX, Modbus and BACnet networks. It enables bidirectional communication between VRF units and supervisory BMS or SCADA platforms, allowing full monitoring and control of all key HVAC parameters. The SMALL (XXS) version supports up to 4 indoor units and 4 outdoor units, making it ideal for small to medium installations in offices, hotels and commercial buildings.
The gateway provides complete HVAC-to-BMS integration, supporting control of operating mode (cooling, heating, ventilation, drying, auto), temperature setpoint, fan speed, louver position, remote controller lock, as well as error and alarm monitoring. With compatibility across Modbus TCP/RTU, KNX TP, BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP, it can be incorporated into any modern BMS architecture without additional converters. The Intesis MAPS software provides auto-discovery of VRF units, address assignment, and real-time diagnostics for fast commissioning.
The IN776MHIXXSO000 gateway features multiple communication interfaces: Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) for Modbus TCP and BACnet/IP, RS-485 for Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP, KNX TP connection, and a USB Mini-B port for configuration via Intesis MAPS. It also includes three binary inputs for connection to external sensors or dry-contact signals such as alarms or occupancy detection. The device provides 1000 VDC galvanic isolation between communication ports, ensuring reliable operation and strong EMC immunity in industrial environments.
The compact enclosure made of PC UL94 V-0 (light grey RAL 7035) allows DIN rail EN60715 TH35 or wall mounting. Power is supplied at 12–36 VDC ±10% or 24 VAC ±10%, with maximum current consumption of 250 mA DC or 127 mA AC. The device includes 14 LED indicators for communication status and power diagnostics, and two DIP-switch blocks for RS-485 termination and polarization. The gateway complies with CE, RoHS and WEEE directives and is covered by a 36-month manufacturer warranty.
