The HD67D36-B2 is a high-performance MQTT / LoRaWAN converter designed to enable seamless integration between long-range LoRaWAN 915MHz wireless networks and modern IoT systems using the MQTT protocol. It allows publishing (Uplink) and retrieving (Downlink) data from a LoRaWAN Gateway to and from an MQTT Server, ensuring reliable, bi-directional data exchange for both monitoring and control applications.

This device is ideal for industrial IoT deployments, smart agriculture, utility monitoring, and asset tracking projects where long-distance communication with low power consumption is required. The LoRaWAN 915MHz frequency is commonly used in North and South America, providing strong coverage and penetration even in challenging environments such as urban areas, forests, or industrial plants.

Configuration:

You need the Compositor SW67D36 software on your PC in order to perform the following:
  • Define the parameters of the MQTT line including broker address, port, QoS levels, and authentication.
  • Define the parameters of the LoRaWAN line such as frequency, spreading factor, bandwidth, and network keys.
  • Define the list of LoRaWAN messages for uplink and downlink to the LoRaWAN gateway to match the application’s data structure.
  • Specify which LoRaWAN variables are sent to the MQTT Server to optimize data traffic.
  • Specify which LoRaWAN variables are written by the MQTT Server for remote control and configuration of devices.
  • Update the device firmware to ensure it runs the latest features and security patches.
This high level of configuration flexibility enables integrators to fine-tune the gateway for maximum efficiency in their IoT applications.
