The HD67F36-B2 is an industrial-grade LoRaWAN gateway to MQTT converter designed for seamless two-way integration between LoRaWAN networks and MQTT-based IoT platforms. It supports both uplink (publishing) and downlink (receiving) data exchange, enabling remote monitoring and control of field devices. This makes it suitable for smart metering, industrial automation, asset tracking, and environmental monitoring applications where long-range, low-power wireless communication is required.
On the LoRaWAN side, the gateway operates at the 915MHz frequency, commonly used in North and South America, and is fully compatible with both public and private networks. It supports all standard LoRaWAN data rates, allowing the optimization of range, bandwidth, and power consumption according to specific application needs. The ability to work with multiple LoRaWAN gateways increases network redundancy and coverage, making it ideal for wide-area deployments.
Its type B wide housing provides extra space for wiring and simplifies installation, while DIN rail mounting ensures quick and secure placement in industrial cabinets. The device’s wide supply voltage range of 12…35V DC and 8…24V AC eliminates the need for additional power converters in most installations. With an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, the HD67F36-B2 is engineered to operate reliably in harsh outdoor environments as well as in hot or dusty industrial facilities.
Configuration:
You need the Compositor SW67F36 software on your PC in order to perform the following:- Define the parameters of the MQTT line, including broker address, port, authentication method, and QoS levels.
- Define the parameters of the LoRaWAN line such as frequency plan, spreading factor, bandwidth, and encryption keys.
- Define the list of LoRaWAN messages for uplink and downlink to the LoRaWAN gateway.
- Specify which LoRaWAN variables are sent to the MQTT Server for data processing and storage.
- Specify which LoRaWAN variables are written by the MQTT Server to control LoRaWAN-enabled devices remotely.
- Update the device firmware to benefit from the latest features and security enhancements.
