Industrial Modbus TCP slave to SNMP manager converter, housing type A (slim), DIN rail mount.
The HD67176-A1 converter enables communication between a Modbus TCP Master network (e.g., PLC, SCADA) and SNMP Slave devices. It allows Modbus systems to actively request data from SNMP-enabled devices and integrate their responses into a unified industrial control system. This makes it a key component in bridging operational technology (OT) and IT monitoring protocols.
The device performs automatic polling of SNMP Agents and converts the responses into Modbus-readable registers, which are accessed by the Modbus TCP Master. This logic allows for centralized management of remote SNMP sensors, UPS devices, or IP-enabled environmental monitors directly from industrial control platforms. The built-in logic supports periodic SNMP GET commands and fast data refresh.
Its compact Type A housing and DIN-rail mounting (35 mm) allow easy installation inside control panels. The converter offers dual RJ45 Ethernet ports supporting 10/100 Mbps autosensing, providing reliable and high-speed connectivity. With extended operating temperature from -40°C to +85°C and galvanic isolation between Ethernet and power lines, HD67176-A1 is a robust solution for harsh industrial applications.
Configuration:
Thanks to the SW67176 software on your PC you can:
- Define the parameters of the SNMP line (IP address, community string, polling intervals)
- Define the parameters of the Modbus TCP line (slave operation, port, device ID)
- Create SNMP GET requests to be sent to selected SNMP Agents periodically
- Map SNMP responses to Modbus registers accessible by the Modbus TCP master
- Update the firmware and configuration remotely through Ethernet
Configuration files can be saved and reused for batch deployment across multiple devices.
