The HD67427-E7V converter enables direct communication between CANopen networks and PROFIBUS DPV0 masters, making it an essential device in industrial and vehicular automation. The triple 4kV galvanic isolation between CANopen, PROFIBUS, and power supply ensures maximum safety and system protection, reducing the risk of equipment failure due to voltage spikes or ground loops.

Particularly suitable for installation in cars, trucks, trains, boats, and in fragile or industrial sectors where stable and secure communication is a must. Two hardware versions are available: the version with PCB coating (suffix V) ensures IP65 dust protection, while the version with resin encapsulation (suffix R) achieves IP67 rating, allowing the converter to operate in high-humidity, wet, or noisy environments. This flexibility allows engineers to choose the appropriate protection level for their specific use case.

Mounting options are equally versatile: the converter can be mounted on horizontal, vertical, or inclined surfaces using four integrated fixing lugs. For vibration-prone mobile installations, metal hose clamps can be used as an alternative mounting method. Connection options include Mini-Fit® or SuperSeal 1.5 connectors, allowing easy adaptation to existing cable harnesses.

The device operates in an extended industrial temperature range from -40°C to +105°C, meeting strict requirements for automotive and railway standards. This high tolerance ensures stable performance in engine bays, control cabinets exposed to direct sunlight, and environments with frequent thermal cycles.

With the free SW67427 software, users can easily configure both CANopen and PROFIBUS interfaces using a graphical PC tool. No programming knowledge is required, and setup takes just a few minutes.
