HD67090-B2-433MHz-0 is a professional M-Bus Wireless to PROFINET gateway designed for seamless integration of smart metering and automation systems. It allows the monitoring of up to 32 M-Bus Wireless slave devices – including heat meters, water meters, gas meters, electricity meters and various sensors – directly within PROFINET-based networks such as Siemens PLC or SCADA systems. This capability makes it an excellent solution for Building Management Systems (BMS), industrial automation and energy monitoring applications where reliable wireless data collection must be forwarded to industrial Ethernet.

The converter supports operation at the 433 MHz frequency band, widely used for M-Bus Wireless applications in Europe, ensuring good signal penetration and stable long-distance communication. It is equipped with an SMA female antenna connector and an Ethernet RJ45 port with 10/100 Base-T autosensing, enabling easy connection to industrial networks. Thanks to its robust housing type B (wide) and DIN rail mounting, the device is suitable for panel installations in both industrial and utility environments. The device tolerates extreme operating temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, which makes it suitable for use in both indoor control cabinets and outdoor enclosures exposed to harsh weather.

One of the key features of this converter is compatibility with the SCAN&DECODE software, which performs an automatic scan of M-Bus devices and decodes all registers available in telegrams. This eliminates the need for manual frame analysis or vendor-specific documentation, drastically reducing commissioning time. In practice, it allows engineers to achieve a plug-and-play integration process, speeding up system deployment and minimizing risks of configuration errors. At startup, the device requires a short peak consumption of 30W, ensuring proper initialization in demanding installations.

HD67090-B2-433MHz-0 allow to monitor some MBus Wireless meters (like Engelmann, Amber-Wireless, Maddalena, Siemens, etc.) with a PROFINET net (like a Siemens PLC, etc). Converter is easy to install and configure thanks to free software SW67090.
