Industrial IO modules (digital-analogue input and output modules)

This category contains industrial IO (input/output) modules. IO modules are used to extend existing systems with additional input resources and digital/analogue/temperature outputs. Thanks to their compact size and DIN-rail mounting capability, extending a system with additional IO modules is easy and does not cause installation problems.

The main advantages of using IO modules are reduced expenditure on additional hardware, space savings in the control cabinet, simplified wiring and cable installation and greater installation organisation. IO modules have many functions such as reporting device statuses, sending commands and transferring information from various sub systems. The IO module helps control digital devices, lighting, roller shutters and, with the service function, it can detect problems between systems and end devices, including mechanical faults as well as transmission interference problems.
