Industrial keyboards - how do they differ from commercial keyboards?
Industrial keypads, as opposed to commercial keypads, are much more durable and made of more robust materials, and are resistant to operating in changing temperatures or humid environments due to their intended use. Industrial keypads can be divided into several types according to their construction, material of construction, mounting option or type of connection. Industrial keyboards can be individually tailored to the project. Depending on the purpose, industrial keyboards are made of stainless steel, glass or silicone. In the case of keyboards to be used in the medical field, they must be created from materials that are easy to disinfect and have an antimicrobial coating, which is why they are often made from silicone or glass.
Industrial keyboards and touchpads
