HD67090-B2-169MHz-250 allow to monitor some MBus Wireless meters (like Engelmann, Amber-Wireless, Maddalena, Siemens, etc.) with a PROFINET net (like a Siemens PLC, etc). Converter is easy to install and configure thanks to free software SW67090.

This converter has been specifically designed for large-scale building automation and industrial energy management systems where reliable integration between wired M-Bus and Wireless M-Bus (wMBus) networks is required. With support for up to 250 wired M-Bus slaves and up to 32 wireless devices, it offers outstanding scalability, making it suitable for district heating, smart metering infrastructures, and multi-building energy monitoring systems.

The use of the 169 MHz frequency band together with N1 & N2 communication modes ensures reliable long-distance communication, particularly in dense urban areas or industrial environments where signal interference can occur. The PROFINET interface provides seamless integration with existing PLC and SCADA systems, allowing real-time data acquisition from utility meters. Its robust type B housing, combined with DIN rail mounting, guarantees easy installation in control cabinets and industrial panels.

New converter functionality - automatic scan of MBus receivers

There is no longer a need to manually analyze M-Bus frames or consult the manufacturer to configure devices. The integrated SCAN&DECODE functionality handles everything automatically, decoding the registers and preparing the system for immediate use.

This feature greatly simplifies installation and reduces commissioning times. The converter automatically detects connected M-Bus and Wireless M-Bus devices, reads out their registers, and configures communication parameters. Thanks to its low power consumption at startup (30W), the gateway is well-suited for installations with large numbers of devices without risk of overloading the power supply.
