HD67090-B2-433MHz-80 is a professional M-Bus Wireless to PROFINET converter, designed for large-scale industrial automation and building management systems. It supports up to 80 wired M-Bus slaves and 32 wireless M-Bus devices, enabling centralized monitoring and integration of various meters such as water, heat, gas, electricity, and environmental sensors into PROFINET networks (e.g., Siemens PLC or SCADA systems).

Operating at 433 MHz, the converter ensures stable long-range wireless communication, ideal for indoor and outdoor installations. It supports S1 and T1 wireless modes, which makes it compatible with a wide range of commercial M-Bus devices. The RJ45 port with 10/100 Base-T autosensing guarantees seamless Ethernet connectivity, while the SMA connector allows the use of external antennas to improve reception in complex environments. Its housing type B, robust design, and DIN rail mounting provide easy integration into control cabinets and harsh industrial environments, with an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.

HD67090-B2-433MHz-80 allow to monitor some MBus Wireless meters (like Engelmann, Amber-Wireless, Maddalena, Siemens, etc.) with a PROFINET net (like a Siemens PLC, etc). Converter is easy to install and configure thanks to free software SW67090.

By combining wired and wireless M-Bus channels in one device, integrators gain the ability to simplify data collection, reduce installation costs, and scale systems according to project requirements. The converter is particularly suited for smart metering, district heating systems, energy distribution networks, and smart city applications where both wired and wireless M-Bus infrastructures coexist.

To facilitate the installation of already easy-to-use ADFweb MBus converters, the manufacturer has developed dedicated software that automatically scans the MBus and decodes all the registers contained in the telegram. In practice, this means faster commissioning, error-free configuration, and reduced integration costs for installers. The device requires a peak startup power of 30W, which should be considered during power system design.
