HD67090-B2-868MHz-20 is a professional MBus Wireless and MBus to PROFINET converter designed for the integration of utility meters and industrial devices into Ethernet-based PROFINET networks. It supports up to 32 wireless M-Bus slaves and 20 wired M-Bus devices, making it an ideal solution for smart metering, BMS (Building Management Systems), energy monitoring, and industrial automation applications (IAS).

The converter operates in the 868 MHz frequency band, commonly used in Europe for wireless metering applications, ensuring longer communication range and stable signal propagation. It supports S1 and T1 wireless modes, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of commercially available wMBus devices such as water, gas, heat, and electricity meters. For connectivity, the device is equipped with an SMA antenna connector, RJ45 Ethernet port with 10/100 Base-T autosensing, and a wired MBus Master port.

The robust type B housing is suitable for DIN rail 35 mm mounting in industrial cabinets. With a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, the unit is designed for both indoor and outdoor installations. During power-up, it requires a short peak consumption of 30W, which should be considered in system power design. Thanks to high resistance to electromagnetic interference and a 24-month manufacturer’s warranty, the converter provides long-term reliability.

The HD67090-B2-868MHz-20 enables monitoring of MBus Wireless meters (e.g., Engelmann, Amber-Wireless, Maddalena, Siemens) as well as wired MBus devices via PROFINET (e.g., Siemens PLCs, SCADA systems). Easy configuration is guaranteed thanks to the free SW67090 software.

The SCAN&DECODE software automatically scans the MBus network and decodes all registers transmitted in telegrams. This greatly reduces installation time, minimizes configuration errors, and simplifies commissioning for integrators and installers.
