HD67090-B2-868MHz-40 is a dual-stack gateway that bridges both wired M-Bus (Master) and Wireless M-Bus (wMBus) to a PROFINET network, enabling centralized supervision from PLC/SCADA/BMS. It supports up to 40 wired M-Bus meters plus 32 wireless wMBus devices in a single node, making it ideal for large utility metering deployments in buildings and industrial sites (water, heat, gas, electricity and environmental sensors).

Operating in the European 868 MHz band (wMBus), the converter provides robust long-range penetration through walls and plant infrastructure. Support for S1 and T1 modes maximizes interoperability with popular meter brands. An external SMA female antenna optimizes RF placement, while the RJ45 10/100 Base-T port ensures deterministic PROFINET integration with controllers (e.g., Siemens PLC) and SCADA systems. The wide type-B housing and DIN-rail mount suit control cabinets; the industrial temperature range −40°C to +85°C supports outdoor and plant-floor environments.

HD67090-B2-868MHz-40 allow to monitor some MBus Wireless meters (like Engelmann, Amber-Wireless, Maddalena, Siemens, etc.) with a PROFINET net (like a Siemens PLC, etc). Converter is easy to install and configure thanks to free software SW67090.

There is no longer need to consult the manufacturer or analyze the protocol frame from the MBus counter - everything will be handled for you our dedicated software SCAN&DECODE!

To facilitate the installation of already easy-to-use ADFweb MBus converters, the manufacturer has developed dedicated software that automatically scans the MBus and decodes all the registers contained in the telegram. In practice, this means fast installation of converters and trouble-free system setup.

Typical workflow: power the unit, connect PROFINET (RJ45) and the wired M-Bus line (terminal block), attach the SMA antenna for 868 MHz, run SCAN&DECODE to discover meters and auto-map registers, then expose values to the PLC/SCADA via PROFINET.
