It provides bi-directional data exchange between both systems, enabling full HVAC management directly from building automation. Connection to the AC system is made directly via the indoor-unit AC bus. The gateway offers full control of operating parameters such as operating mode, temperature setpoint, fan speed and louver position. At the same time, it enables status monitoring, alarm and fault indication, plus access to selected internal variables (e.g., operating hours counter) to support service diagnostics.
Gateway commissioning is done using ETS, and the official KNX product database is available for download. With support for multiple KNX DPT objects (1.x, 5.x, 9.x, etc.) and KNX certification, the interface ensures interoperability with any KNX device or KNX-based system, regardless of the manufacturer.
