Industrial Ethernet/IP to PROFIBUS converters
In this section of our shop you will find converters from Ethernet/IP to PROFIBUS interfaces. Ethernet, Ethernet/IP and Profibus are communication protocols used in industrial automation for, among other things, the exchange of data between servers, robots, HMI panels, readers or PLCs.
Ethernet/IP is an industrial protocol based on Ethernet, enabling high-speed data transmission and control of industrial devices. Used to integrate PLCs, HMIs and sensors, it ensures efficient management of industrial processes. Thanks to its scalability and interoperability, it is widely used in a variety of industrial applications.
Converters allow, for example, the integration of Ethernet/IP devices such as Rockwell Automation controllers into a PROFIBUS network (e.g. sensors, valves), and can additionally act as an Ethernet bridge between Profibus devices (Profibus-Ethernet bridge).

Each Ethernet/IP to PROFIBUS converter in our range offers a wide power supply range of 24VAC or 8-35VDC, easy DIN rail mounting (TH35), resistance to electromagnetic interference and the possibility of installation in outdoor boxes and environments with a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. The converters support standard RJ45 type connectors for Ethernet/IP communication and DB9 for Profibus communication. Selected models have a built-in watchdog.
The converters support Profibus version DP V0 and are available in two configuration versions,Profibus master - where the master on the Ethernet/IP side communicates with Profibus slaves and Profibus slave - where the master on the Profibus side (e.g. a PLC) communicates with slaves on the Ethernet/IP side.
Depending on the model, the converters can be configured using the built-in web server or the software provided by the manufacturer, making the devices very simple and quick to configure. The software allows the generation of an automatic GSD file that can be imported into any Profibus master (e.g. in TIA portal).
