KNX communication modules for Daikin air conditioners
This category contains Daikin KNX communication modules, which allow Daikin indoor air conditioners from the Home, VRV and Skyline series to be connected to and managed by master systems such as BMS or SCADA using the KNX TP-1 (EIB) communication protocol. The communication modules enable remote management of the air conditioners, allowing faster fault diagnosis, temperature and power regulation and control of other functions. This saves maintenance time, energy and extends the life of the units.

Features and functions of Daikin KNX communication modules
The Daikin KNX gateway allows the control of home series air conditioners, VRV, Skyline and air conditioners equipped with an IR receiver.
The Daikin KNX gateway features reduced dimensions, fast installation and support for multiple control and status objects (bit, byte, characters) according to standard KNX data point types. It allows control of the air-conditioning unit based on the ambient temperature read by the AC unit itself or any KNX thermostat, while controlling via infrared remote control and KNX protocol. In addition, the gateways for the VRV and SKY Air series offer special operating modes (Power, Evonomy, Additional Heating and Additional Cooling), sleep operation for an open window, occupancy mode and sleep function.
It is possible to save and run up to 5 scenes from KNX, setting the desired combinations of operating mode, set temperature, fan speed, blade position and remote control lock at any time with a simple toggle. Four potential-free binary inputs allow integration of different types of external devices and are configurable with ETS and can be used for switching, dimming, blind control and other functions.
Using the ETS configuration tool, the connection between two networks can be easily configured using the available database. The gateway, thanks to its support for numerous KNX DPTs and KNX certification, guarantees compatibility with any KNX device available on the market.
