Modbus communication modules for Daikin air conditioners
This category contains Daikin Modbus communication modules, which allow Daikin indoor air conditioners in the Home, VRV and Skyline series to be connected to and managed by master systems such as BMS or SCADA using the Modbus communication protocol. With the communication modules, air conditioners can be managed remotely, allowing for faster fault diagnosis, temperature and power regulation, and control of other functions, saving maintenance time, energy and extending the life of the units.

Features and functions of Daikin Modbus communication modules
The communication modules allow simultaneous connection to the gateway of from 1 unit in the home series to up to 16 air conditioners in the VRV and Skyline series, with the Gateway for the VRV and Skyline versions controlling all units in groups, individual air conditioners cannot be controlled with it, so the most common application in both cases is a 1:1 connection.
The Daikin Modbus modules can be mounted in series on a Modbus RTU (RS-485) network, allowing them to be connected to a single wide area network with up to 63 units. In both cases, the modules allow configuration via DIP-switches or Modbus RTU protocol and can operate simultaneously with an air-conditioning remote control. All units have 1500VDC isolation and wall or DIN rail (TH35) mounting.
