Industrial EtherCAT Master to Modbus TCP Master converter.

HD67E53-A1 is an advanced industrial protocol converter designed to integrate EtherCAT Master systems with networks and devices communicating using Modbus TCP Master. The device enables centralized EtherCAT control while simultaneously managing active communication with multiple Modbus TCP devices over Ethernet.

The converter operates as an EtherCAT Master, controlling communication within the EtherCAT network, and at the same time acts as a Modbus TCP Master, initiating read and write requests to multiple Modbus TCP Slave devices. This architecture allows the creation of complex automation systems where EtherCAT provides real-time control and Modbus TCP serves as the Ethernet communication layer.

The HD67E53-A1 model is equipped with four RJ45 Ethernet ports. Two ports are used for EtherCAT communication (input and output via an internal EtherCAT switch), while the remaining ports are dedicated to Modbus TCP communication. This design enables flexible network topologies and direct connection of multiple Ethernet devices.

Thanks to its industrial-grade design and high environmental resistance, the converter operates reliably across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. The use of industrial components ensures stable and long-term operation in demanding automation environments.

Device configuration is performed using the dedicated SW67E53 software. The tool enables configuration of EtherCAT parameters, definition of Modbus TCP connections and requests, data mapping, and preparation of the device for operation within the target control system.
