Industrial EtherCAT Master to Modbus TCP Slave converter.

HD67E54-A1 is an industrial protocol converter designed to integrate EtherCAT Master control systems with Ethernet-based networks using Modbus TCP Slave. The device enables deterministic real-time control on the EtherCAT side while simultaneously exposing process data to supervisory systems via Modbus TCP.

The converter operates as an EtherCAT Master, managing communication with connected EtherCAT Slave devices, and at the same time works as a Modbus TCP Slave, making internal process data available to PLCs, SCADA systems, or other Modbus TCP Masters. This architecture is ideal for industrial automation systems requiring real-time control combined with standard Ethernet integration.

The HD67E54-A1 model is equipped with four RJ45 Ethernet ports. Two ports are used for EtherCAT communication through an internal EtherCAT switch, allowing input and output connections, while the remaining Ethernet ports are used for Modbus TCP communication. This setup supports flexible network topologies and simplifies system wiring.

According to the manufacturer documentation, the converter provides triple electrical isolation between EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, and the power supply, significantly improving reliability and protection in industrial environments. The device is designed for continuous operation in harsh conditions within a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.
