HD67G07-5-B2 connects Modbus Slave RS485 devices with HTTP/REST Client communication via Ethernet.

HD67G07-5-B2 is an industrial ADFweb converter designed to connect devices operating as Modbus Slave on the RS485 side with systems and applications based on HTTP/REST Client communication. This model is a practical solution wherever classic serial field communication must be integrated with Ethernet infrastructure and modern network-based data exchange.

From an integration perspective, HD67G07-5-B2 works as a reliable bridge between Modbus Slave RS485 devices and an HTTP/REST Client environment. It fits well in industrial automation, telemetry systems, building automation, monitoring applications and service environments where stable access to serial data through Ethernet communication is required.

The device is designed for industrial operation. It provides electrical isolation between Ethernet and power supply, 35 mm DIN rail mounting, a wide power supply range of 12..35V DC / 8..24V AC and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The compact housing type B makes installation easy inside control cabinets, while the power consumption of about 5 W/VA at 24V DC supports straightforward panel power planning.

On the hardware side, the unit is equipped with 1 RS485 port with a 3-way 5 mm terminal block and 1 RJ45 Ethernet port. Ethernet communication works at 10/100 Base-T Autosensing, while the RS485 side supports transmission speeds up to 115200 bps. These parameters make the converter suitable for a wide range of industrial, integration and service applications.

For the RS485 line, the manufacturer provides 120Ω line termination activated by DIP-switch 1. The maximum RS485 cable length can reach 1200 m, which is important in larger industrial facilities and distributed field installations. This gives the device more flexibility in real deployments where field devices may be located far from the control cabinet.

The converter includes four status LEDs indicating device state, Modbus communication, HTTP/REST activity and error state. In addition, the unit is equipped with a Recovery button that allows the device to be switched into recovery mode in case of firmware or configuration issues. This is especially useful in industrial installations where quick service recovery is important.

Configuration is carried out using SW67G07, which allows the user to define HTTP/REST parameters, configure the Modbus line, define the list of HTTP/REST servers communicating with Modbus masters, configure endpoints and update the device. This gives the integrator flexibility to adapt the converter to a specific industrial application.
