INBACLON3K00000 is the top-tier model of the Intesis BACnet Server – LonWorks series by HMS Networks, designed for seamless integration between LonWorks FT-10 networks and BACnet/IP or BACnet MSTP systems. The gateway acts as a BACnet Server, providing full bidirectional data exchange between both protocols, supporting read/write access and COV subscription. With a capacity of up to 3000 BACnet points and 6000 COV subscriptions, it is ideal for large-scale and distributed building automation, industrial, and infrastructure applications. The INBACLON3K00000 enables building management systems (BMS) to integrate existing LonWorks devices into modern BACnet-based control environments without requiring replacement of legacy sensors or controllers.

The device operates as a LON client, continuously polling Network Variables (NVs) from FT-10 nodes and mapping them directly to BACnet objects on the IP or MSTP side. Each LonWorks variable can be freely assigned to a corresponding BACnet object (Analog, Binary, Multistate, Trend Log, etc.), allowing complete flexibility in data structure definition. In case of communication loss, the gateway automatically generates diagnostic alarms or status objects on the BACnet network. It fully complies with the BACnet B-BC (Building Controller) profile, ensuring interoperability with major HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems. This makes it an excellent solution for both retrofit and new construction projects requiring cross-protocol communication.

Configuration and maintenance are handled via Intesis MAPS, a unified software platform for all Intesis gateways. MAPS provides real-time monitoring of communication channels, automatic device discovery, and fast project import/export functions. It also includes a diagnostic console that displays BACnet and LonWorks traffic, variable mapping tables, and event logs for easy troubleshooting. The gateway supports both DHCP and static IP addressing and can operate simultaneously over Ethernet (BACnet/IP) and RS-485 (BACnet MSTP) connections.
