The INMBSMEB0600000 IntesisBox gateway enables seamless bidirectional communication between M-Bus metering systems and any Modbus TCP or Modbus RTU master device such as BMS, SCADA or PLC. Supporting up to 60 M-Bus devices and 1500 Modbus data points, this gateway is ideal for large commercial and industrial automation environments where centralized monitoring and control of energy data is essential.
From the Modbus side, the gateway behaves as a standard Modbus slave device, responding to requests from a Modbus master. On the M-Bus side, it acts as a master device, polling the connected meters and transferring the data to Modbus. With high electrical isolation and robust communication features, the device guarantees safe and reliable integration in mission-critical systems.
