The INMBSMEB1200000 is a high-capacity industrial M-Bus to Modbus gateway developed by Intesis to facilitate bidirectional communication between up to 120 M-Bus devices and any Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP-based system such as BMS, SCADA or PLC. With support for up to 3000 data points, it provides an ideal solution for energy monitoring in large buildings, factories, and infrastructure projects.
The gateway operates as a Modbus slave from the Modbus side, responding to queries from the master controller, while acting as a master on the M-Bus side, polling all connected meters. It efficiently collects consumption data from water, electricity, gas, and heat meters and makes it available in real time through standardized Modbus registers. This structure ensures a reliable, consistent, and scalable approach to integrating metering data into central automation systems.
