INSTCMBG0040000 – BACnet IP & MS/TP Client or Modbus TCP & RTU Master to ST Cloud – 4 Devices.
The INSTCMBG0040000 gateway enables seamless cloud-based integration of BACnet or Modbus devices with ST Cloud Control. It allows remote monitoring and control of up to 4 field devices via cloud web dashboards and mobile apps. Depending on the application, the gateway can operate in three modes: BACnet IP Client, BACnet MS/TP Master, or Modbus RTU Master and TCP Client.
The device is BTL certified, ensuring full BACnet protocol compatibility. On the Modbus side, the gateway supports up to 5 Modbus TCP nodes and a wide range of function codes (1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 15x, 16x). It allows flexible mapping of data with customizable settings for data length (1 to 64 bits), data format (unsigned, signed, float, bitfield), and byte order (little or big endian).
Configuration is performed using Intesis MAPS software, where all communication parameters and mappings can be defined. Once the gateway is configured and assigned to an ST Cloud user, the connected devices and data widgets will automatically become available in the cloud interfaces, without further programming.
The device includes a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port with LED indicators, and an RS485 serial port with 1500VDC isolation. The compact housing is made of flame-retardant plastic (PC, UL 94 V-0) and designed for DIN rail or wall mounting. With low power consumption (1.7 W) and robust mechanical design, the gateway is ideal for modern industrial and BMS applications.
