How does the Midea Wifi module work?
Communication modules allow 1 unit of a Home, VRF or Skyline series air conditioner to be connected to the Midea WiFi gateway. Midea WiFi modules are powered directly from the air conditioner, have the option of indoor (in the AC unit), outdoor (wall-mounted) or floor-standing installation and require no additional wiring.
The product features easy Wi-Fi configuration via a native Android and iOS app and support for Wi-Fi b/g/n standards at 2.4 GHz. Installation is quick and simple (connect and configure Wi-Fi) and the module's operation allows simultaneous control of the air conditioning unit via the manufacturer's remote control and the AC Cloud Control app, with integration with third-party systems such as IFTTT, Google Assistant, Alexa and Siri Shortcuts.
