TNS5500D-8GP4GT-P110 – 12-port Layer 2 industrial M12 Ethernet switch with 8×Gigabit PoE and EN50155 certification.

TNS5500D-8GP4GT-P110 is a rugged Layer 2 managed industrial Ethernet switch designed for extreme operating conditions in railway, transportation and mobile automation systems. Fully compliant with EN50155, EN50121-3-2 and EN45545, it uses vibration-resistant M12 connectors to ensure secure and stable network communication in on-board systems, PIS, signaling and CCTV installations.

This model integrates 8 × Gigabit PoE M12 ports (X-coded) and 4 × Gigabit M12 ports (X-coded), making it a high-performance solution for applications requiring both high bandwidth and power delivery over Ethernet. Each PoE port supports up to 30 W in accordance with IEEE 802.3af/at, significantly reducing additional power wiring in vehicles and mobile infrastructure.

The switch offers advanced Layer 2 management functions including STP/RSTP/MSTP, ERPS (G.8032), 802.1Q VLAN, QoS, IGMP Snooping, LLDP, port trunking, port mirroring and comprehensive security features such as ACL, 802.1X, SSH and storm control. Management can be performed through WEB, CLI (RS-232), Telnet, SNMP v1/v2c/v3 and SSH, ensuring full control and smooth integration with supervisory systems.

The P110 variant operates from a 110VDC (66–156VDC) power supply. A fully sealed IP67 metal enclosure ensures dust and water resistance, while the fanless design with an external heat sink guarantees reliability in demanding temperature ranges from -40°C to +75°C. This makes the switch suitable for mission-critical railway and industrial environments.
