HD67G06-5-G43-E-VPN-B2 is an industrial ADFweb converter designed to connect devices operating as Modbus Master on the RS485 side with modern systems and applications based on HTTP/REST Server communication. This model is a practical solution wherever classic Modbus communication must be integrated with Ethernet infrastructure and secure remote access over a mobile network.

The HD67G06-5-G43-E-VPN-B2 variant offers LAN + SIM LTE + eSIM connectivity together with VPN Service, making it a strong choice for applications that require both reliable data exchange between Modbus Master RS485 devices and an HTTP/REST Server environment, and safer remote access to distributed industrial systems. It fits well in automation projects, telemetry installations, building automation systems and service applications where communication reliability matters.

The device is designed for industrial operation. It provides electrical isolation between Ethernet and power supply, 35 mm DIN rail mounting, a wide power supply range of 12..35V DC and 8..24V AC, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The compact housing type B makes installation easier in control cabinets, machine panels and retrofit projects.

On the mobile side, the converter uses an LTE module with support for Micro-SIM and integrated eSIM. The antenna connector is SMA Female, so the antenna must use an SMA Male connector. Combined with the RJ45 Ethernet port and 10/100 Base-T Autosensing communication, the unit can be deployed both in local Ethernet networks and in remote industrial applications requiring mobile connectivity.

For the RS485 line, the manufacturer provides 120Ω line termination activated by DIP-switch 1. The maximum RS485 cable length can reach 1200 m, which is important in larger industrial installations and distributed field networks. The Ethernet port is used both for device programming and for HTTP/REST communication.

The converter is also equipped with four status LEDs that indicate device state, Modbus communication, HTTP/REST activity and error state. In the event of firmware issues or configuration problems, the Recovery button can be used to switch the device into recovery mode and restore access for firmware update or reset operations.

Configuration is carried out using SW67G06, which allows the user to define HTTP/REST parameters, configure the Modbus line, define the list of HTTP/REST clients, configure endpoints, define Modbus variables to read and write, and update the device. This gives the integrator precise control over data mapping between the Modbus side and HTTP/REST payloads.
