The HD674-A008-2-E4V converter is a rugged industrial communication gateway designed to interface Modbus RTU Master devices via RS232 with SNMP-based network infrastructure. Its key strength lies in the triple 4kV galvanic isolation, providing reinforced electrical protection between the Modbus Master, SNMP Agent, and power supply. This ensures enhanced system safety and minimizes the risk of interference or failure in electrically noisy or unstable environments.

The device features a durable metal housing that is resistant to vibration and shock, making it ideal for use in vehicles, trains, boats, and other mobile or industrial platforms. Its operational reliability is supported by a wide temperature range from -40°C to +105°C, meeting strict automotive-grade standards. Available in two versions—V version with PCB coating (IP65) and R version with resin encapsulation (IP67)—this converter is designed to withstand dust, humidity, and mechanical stress. It can be installed on any surface (horizontal, vertical, or inclined) using four fixing lugs.
