The HD67412-E7V combines high mechanical resistance with advanced electrical protection, making it ideal for mission-critical applications. Its metal housing provides durability against shock and vibration, while the triple 4kV galvanic isolation between CAN, Modbus Slave and the power supply ensures safe operation even in noisy electromagnetic environments. With SuperSeal 1.5® connectors and IP65 dust-tight protection, this device guarantees reliability in harsh industrial and automotive environments.

Two versions are available: one with a PCB coating (suffix V) offering IP65 protection against dust and industrial conditions, and another with resin encapsulation (suffix R) providing IP67 protection, enhanced insulation and strong resistance to moisture and EMC disturbances. Thanks to these options, the converter can be tailored to diverse working conditions ranging from standard factory automation to outdoor or marine environments.

The unit can be installed on any surface (horizontal, vertical, or inclined) using four fixing lugs. In addition, installers can select between Mini-Fit® and SuperSeal 1.5® connectors, depending on the mechanical or environmental requirements of the project.

An extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C ensures suitability for automotive, railway and heavy industrial applications, including environments with extreme thermal stress or mechanical vibrations.

Configuration:

Thanks to the free SW67412 software on your PC you can:

• Define the CAN frames read/write from the Converter
• Define the Modbus registers readable/writeable by the Master
• Update the device firmware

The configuration tool significantly reduces commissioning time, allowing engineers to map CAN data to Modbus registers with flexibility. This makes it possible to integrate modern CAN devices (sensors, actuators, automotive modules) into existing Modbus infrastructures such as PLCs, SCADA or BMS.
