The HD67561 converter is an advanced industrial communication gateway designed to connect Modbus RTU slave devices to PROFIBUS DP master systems such as Siemens PLCs or other automation controllers. By enabling seamless data exchange between these two popular protocols, it allows engineers to integrate equipment from different vendors into a single control architecture, improving operational efficiency and reducing engineering time during commissioning.
It is particularly suitable for industrial applications in process automation, manufacturing, energy management, and building control systems. The slim DIN rail mountable housing makes it ideal for compact control cabinets, while its robust construction ensures reliable performance in environments with vibration, electrical noise, and temperature extremes ranging from -40°C to +85°C. With PROFIBUS DPV0 support and data rates up to 12 Mbps on the PROFIBUS side, and up to 115 Kbps on the Modbus side, the device ensures fast and accurate data transfer.
This gateway supports multiple serial communication protocols, including Modbus RTU, JBUS, and simple ASCII or Binary modes, making it versatile for different integration scenarios. HD67561 allows to connect Modbus slaves with PROFIBUS master devices (for example Siemens PLC). Converter is easy to use and configure thanks to free SW67561 sotware.
