The HD67426-E4R is an advanced industrial converter that enables seamless communication between a CANopen network and a PROFIBUS DPV0 master system. Designed for deployment in harsh environments, this device ensures reliable and fast data exchange even in applications subject to high vibration, mechanical shock, and electromagnetic interference (EMI). The robust construction and IP67 rating make it ideal for use in both indoor and outdoor industrial installations, as well as in mobile applications.

It is particularly suitable for installation in cars, trucks, trains, boats, and in demanding industrial sectors such as manufacturing, energy, process automation, and heavy machinery control. Thanks to the triple 4kV galvanic isolation, the converter provides high-level protection between communication channels, preventing damage from surges and reducing downtime risks in critical systems.

Two enclosure variants are available: the V version with a PCB coating that ensures full dust protection (IP65), and the R version with resin encapsulation, which provides complete waterproofing (IP67), superior insulation, and enhanced noise immunity. This flexibility allows engineers to choose the appropriate version based on environmental conditions, ensuring reliable operation in both dry and wet locations.

The HD67426-E4R can be mounted on horizontal, vertical, or oblique surfaces using the four integrated fixing lugs. For additional installation flexibility, metal hose clamps can be used for secure fastening without the lugs. The device is equipped with Mini-Fit® or AMP SuperSeal 1.5 connectors to ensure a secure and vibration-resistant connection, which is particularly important in automotive and transport applications.

The converter operates reliably in extreme temperature conditions, from -40°C to +105°C, meeting the requirements of the automotive industry and other applications where continuous operation in severe environments is essential. This wide temperature range ensures that the device performs consistently, whether installed in cold outdoor areas or in high-temperature industrial enclosures.

Configuration:

Thanks to the dedicated SW67426 software, the configuration process is straightforward and intuitive. Using the software, you can:

• Define the parameters of the PROFIBUS line
• Define the parameters of the CANopen line
• Set up the PROFIBUS network topology
• Assign which CANopen frames contain PROFIBUS information
• Specify which PROFIBUS data is stored in CANopen frames

This high degree of customization allows seamless integration into both new and existing systems, reducing engineering time and costs.
