This category includes converters that communicate in IO-Link standard. IO-Link is a powerful standard (IEC 61131-9) that enables the introduction of intelligent solutions in industrial automation. This digital interface enables a network independent fielbus connection point to point. In addition, it is the first global standard for IO technology to communicate from the control level up to the lowest level of industrial automation, linking sensors and actuators in a fieldbus network.
