Each M-Bus to BACnet IP converter available from us supports all meters communicating over M-Bus, including but not limited to. Amongst others, meters from Apator, BMeters, Kamstrup, Astat and many others. Our converters feature easy DIN rail mounting, resistance to electromagnetic interference and the ability to be installed in environments with a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. The industrial design of the converters guarantees long, trouble-free operation and the possibility of installation in boxes exposed to both frost and cabinets with very high internal temperatures.
Our M-Bus to BACnet IP converters support M-Bus ports on a screw connector and BACnet on a classic RJ45. Depending on the device model, 20, 40, 80, 160 or even 250 counters can be connected and read simultaneously via the gateway while maintaining the appropriate M-Bus parameters. M-Bus meter reading converters always operate as BACnet server (slave) on the BACnet protocol side and as M-Bus master on the M-Bus side. Thanks to the free software included with each unit, the converters are very easy to configure. The SCAN&DECODE tool allows the bus with counters to be automatically scanned and the values from the counters to be assigned to subsequent BACnet objects which reduces the configuration time of the converters to a minimum.
