RS-232 to Ethernet converter, serial devices in WAN (internet) and LAN network
Industrial RS-232 to Ethernet converters - what are their uses?
RSR-232 to Ethernet converters are used to plug devices with RS-232 serial communication into an Ethernet network. This solution allows, for example, remote access to devices communicating over RS-232 such as counters, sensors, controllers, machines, cash registers, scales and others with serial communication. RS-232 to Ethernet converters provide the possibility to access serial devices from both the local area network (LAN) and the Internet (WAN).
