IN7004856000000 is an advanced communication gateway from the Intesis IN700-485 series, designed for seamless integration between Modbus TCP/RTU networks and BACnet/IP or BACnet MS/TP systems. Operating as a Modbus Server and simultaneously as a BACnet Client, it allows Modbus data to be easily mapped and used within BACnet-based applications. With support for up to 600 points, this gateway is ideal for large-scale BMS and SCADA projects requiring robust and reliable interoperability.

On the Modbus side, the device works both with Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU, providing data as a Server. On the BACnet side, it operates as a BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP Client, enabling flexible integration of multiple BACnet objects and functions. The gateway supports up to 6 simultaneous Modbus TCP connections, ensuring stable communication in complex environments. Thanks to the built-in BACnet Explorer function, device discovery and object mapping become simple and efficient. Configuration and monitoring are performed via Intesis MAPS, which also allows firmware updates, project import/export, and communication testing.

The device is designed for DIN rail mounting and is powered by 24 VDC ±10% or 24 VAC. Its compact housing (90 × 88 × 58 mm) ensures easy installation inside control cabinets and electrical panels. Front panel indicators include multiple LEDs for power, errors, and communication status, as well as a push button for factory reset and BACnet I-Am announcements. Available interfaces include two RS-485 ports, an Ethernet port, and a mini-USB port for configuration and firmware management.
