IN702MEB1000000 is the most advanced gateway in the Intesis 700series Metering Gateway family, designed to integrate M-Bus meters, Modbus RTU/TCP devices, and pulse meters into building and industrial automation systems based on Modbus, KNX and BACnet. The device supports up to 100 meters and a maximum of 3000 signals, making it the perfect solution for large and mission-critical metering installations. The embedded M-Bus level converter eliminates the need for additional interfaces, lowering deployment costs and simplifying system design. Acting as an M-Bus master and simultaneously as an IP server, the gateway ensures reliable bidirectional communication and monitoring of electricity, water, gas, and heat meters.
The IN702MEB1000000 is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools that allow fast detection of communication errors at both the individual meter and bus level. The auto-discovery function detects meters and imports registers automatically, significantly reducing commissioning time. Configurable polling intervals of up to 48 hours extend the operational life of battery-powered meters, which is especially important in large distributed systems. Intesis MAPS enables convenient project import and export, making deployment of standardized communication schemes across multiple sites straightforward. Extended timeout settings provide stable communication even with non-standard or vendor-specific meters.
The IN702MEB1000000 supports all major BMS protocols: Modbus RTU/TCP, KNX TP, and BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP. With the late configuration feature, protocols can be changed at any time, reducing inventory costs and simplifying logistics. The device also provides 3 pulse inputs, enabling direct integration of additional electricity, water, or heat meters. Support for up to 5 simultaneous TCP connections guarantees reliable communication with multiple supervisory systems. Certifications UL, BTL, CE, CB ensure compliance with industrial requirements, while RoHS and WEEE compliance ensures environmental and user safety.
Its compact enclosure with dimensions of 90 × 106 × 58 mm allows easy installation on DIN rail EN60715 TH35 or directly on walls. The gateway operates at 24 VDC ±10% with a power consumption of 17 W. All communication ports are equipped with clear LED indicators for quick diagnostics. Two DIP switch blocks allow RS-485 bus termination and biasing configuration, ensuring full compatibility with Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP networks. A functional push button provides factory reset or I-Am messaging in BACnet networks, simplifying service and integration.
