The TNS5800D-16GP4GT-P110 is a high-performance Layer 3 industrial Ethernet switch designed for rolling stock, railway infrastructure, transportation systems and harsh outdoor environments. It complies with EN50155, EN50121-3-2 and IEC61373, ensuring full resistance to vibration, shock, electromagnetic interference and temperature fluctuations. Its rugged metal housing with IP67 protection guarantees reliable operation even in environments exposed to moisture, dust and mechanical impact.
This model provides 16× Gigabit PoE M12 (X-coded) ports with up to 30 W output per port, enabling direct powering of onboard cameras, access points, sensors and other PoE devices. Additionally, it includes 4× Gigabit M12 (X-coded) uplink ports supporting bypass function (2 groups), ensuring uninterrupted communication even during power failure. This makes the switch ideal for mission-critical railway and transportation networks.
The P110 version supports a wide-range 110 VDC (66–156 VDC) power input compliant with railway electrical systems. Its external heat sink and fanless design provide excellent thermal performance and long-term reliability. With an operating temperature range of -40…75°C, the device is suitable for extreme environmental conditions.
As a Layer 3 switch, TNS5800D-16GP4GT-P110 supports static routing, OSPF, RIP, VRRP and NAT. The unit also includes a full set of redundancy, security and diagnostic features: ERPS, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LLDP, port isolation, DHCP server, 802.1X, Radius, IGMP Snooping, PIM-SM/D, port statistics, link monitoring and more. These capabilities ensure high availability and advanced traffic control for large and distributed networks.
