The Modbus communication modules for Bosch air conditioners in the Commercial and VRF series make it possible to connect air conditioners to master systems such as BMS or SCADA and manage them using the Modbus RTU protocol. Communication module features and functions

These communication modules allow the connection of 1 to 32 indoor or outdoor Bosch units and provide advanced functionality such as mode selection, temperature setting, fan speed control, and access to status alarms and diagnostic information. Internal parameters like operating hours counters help optimize service intervals.

The device functions as a Modbus RTU slave over RS-485 (EIA485) and is compatible with any master device. Configuration is simple via DIP-switches, and dual control via infrared remote and Modbus master is also supported. An additional function such as window open detection enhances energy efficiency, reducing unnecessary cooling or heating. Installation options include DIN rail (TH35) or wall mounting.
