HD67G09-B2 connects Modbus TCP Master devices with HTTP/REST Client communication via Ethernet.
HD67G09-B2 is an industrial ADFweb converter designed to integrate systems using Modbus TCP Master with applications and services based on HTTP/REST Client communication. This model is intended for environments where industrial Ethernet communication must be connected with modern data exchange toward servers, cloud services and software platforms based on HTTP/REST architecture.
From an integration perspective, HD67G09-B2 acts as a stable bridge between the Modbus TCP Master side and the HTTP/REST side working in client mode. It can be used in industrial automation, building systems, telemetry applications, technical monitoring and data integration projects where Modbus TCP data must be exchanged with external HTTP/REST services.
The manufacturer confirms that the device provides electrical isolation between Ethernet and power supply, mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail, a wide power supply range of 12..35V DC / 8..24V AC and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. These features make the converter suitable for industrial control cabinets and demanding operating environments where reliability and simple installation are required.
HD67G09-B2 is equipped with 1 Ethernet RJ45 port, which is used for programming the device, HTTP/REST communication and Modbus TCP communication. The manual also states that the interface uses two different MAC addresses, one for the HTTP/REST side and one for the Modbus TCP side. This is an important advantage in advanced integration projects where communication separation and network clarity matter.
Communication on both the Modbus TCP side and the HTTP/REST side works in 10/100 Base-T Autosensing. The manufacturer recommends at least a Category 5E cable compliant with the T568 standard, and the maximum Ethernet cable length should not exceed 100 m. A straight cable is recommended for connection to a hub or switch, while a cross cable is recommended for direct connection to a PC.
The converter includes four LEDs for operating status indication. The first LED indicates device state, the second shows Modbus TCP activity, the third shows HTTP/REST activity and the fourth indicates errors. The module also features a Recovery button, which allows the device to enter recovery mode after a wrong firmware update or configuration issue. In this mode, the firmware can be uploaded again or the device can be reset using the default IP address.
Configuration is carried out using SW67G09, which allows the user to define HTTP/REST parameters, configure Modbus TCP settings, define the list of accessible endpoints from the HTTP/REST side and configure the list of Modbus TCP read and write requests. The same software is also used to update the device.
