IGW3500-2T1D-TB-P(24VDC) is a compact and high-performance industrial Modbus RTU to EtherNet/IP communication gateway, designed to integrate RS-485 serial devices into EtherNet/IP-based automation networks. The device enables bidirectional data exchange, allowing existing Modbus RTU installations to be seamlessly connected to modern PLC and industrial Ethernet systems.

On the EtherNet/IP side, the gateway operates as an EtherNet/IP Adapter and is equipped with 2× 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports with an integrated switch supporting daisy-chain topologies and DLR (Device Level Ring) networks. PLC configuration is performed using an EDS file, enabling direct I/O data mapping in environments such as Rockwell Studio 5000 / RSLogix.

On the serial side, the device provides 1× RS-485 port via a terminal block, operating as a Modbus RTU master or slave. The gateway supports connection of up to 32 Modbus RTU devices and up to 128 Modbus commands, and also supports custom serial protocols, offering high flexibility for system integration.

Data mapping between EtherNet/IP and Modbus RTU is performed using dedicated configuration software that enables graphical, code-free configuration, real-time monitoring of Modbus frames and import/export of Modbus point tables, significantly reducing commissioning time and simplifying maintenance.

IGW3500-2T1D-TB-P(24VDC) provides a fast protocol conversion time (<15 ms) and features triple galvanic isolation between the power supply, Ethernet interfaces and serial port, ensuring high immunity to electrical noise and reliable operation in industrial environments.

The gateway is powered by 24 VDC and supports operation over a wide temperature range of -20 to +70°C. Its metal enclosure, IP20 protection rating and 35 mm DIN-rail mounting make it ideal for installation inside industrial control cabinets.
