The HD67426-E4V converter enables bidirectional communication between CANopen devices and PROFIBUS DPV0 slave networks. Operating as a PROFIBUS Master, it allows a CANopen network to take control of PROFIBUS-connected components. This capability is essential in complex automation systems where data exchange between different industrial buses must be seamless and reliable. The gateway bridges these two protocols while maintaining data integrity and high transfer rates.

Its robust metal housing ensures maximum mechanical strength and resistance to shock and vibration, while triple galvanic isolation (4kV) between CANopen, PROFIBUS, and the power supply protects against transient voltages, ensuring high system stability. The HD67426-E4V is ideal for applications requiring high electromagnetic immunity, such as transportation, machine automation, or energy management systems.

Particularly suitable for installation in cars, trucks, trains, boats and harsh industrial environments where external vibrations, dust, and moisture could compromise the integrity of electronic devices. This converter is engineered for demanding field conditions, delivering consistent performance even when exposed to extreme operational stress.

Two housing variants are available: the V version (IP65) with PCB coating that protects against dust ingress, and the R version (IP67) with resin encapsulation, ensuring resistance to water, humidity, and electrical noise. The flexibility of these models enables their use in both indoor panels and outdoor automation cabinets, even in marine or mobile settings.

The converter supports installation on horizontal, vertical, or inclined surfaces using four dedicated mounting lugs. For more dynamic environments, metal hose clamps can be used for secure mounting without lugs. Users may also select between Mini-Fit® or AMP SuperSeal 1.5 connectors, ensuring compatibility with standard cabling systems used in industrial and automotive sectors.

With an extended temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, the HD67426-E4V meets automotive and railway-grade requirements, allowing stable operation in environments with extreme thermal variations. This makes it suitable for both climate-controlled enclosures and exposed outdoor installations.

The device is configured using the SW67426 software – a free, intuitive Windows-based tool that simplifies parameter setup for both buses.
